Chenchu Lakshmi

Chenchu Lakshmi is a 1958 bilingual Telugu and Tamil film directed by B. A. Subba Rao. The film was released in 1958.

The storyline is that of Ahobilam, wherein Lord Vishnu as Narasimha after killing Hiranyakasipa leaves into the deep forest. Mahalaxmi as Chenchu Lakshmi born as daughter of the Chenchu tribal head. Narasimha gets attracted to Lakshmi and she puts many conditions who successful in them and they get married.The music was composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. Lyrics by Papanasam Sivan, Thanjai N. Ramaiah Dass amp M. S. Subramaniam. Playback singers are Ghantasala, Seerkazhi Govindarajan, M. Sathyam, V. N. Sundharam, P. B. Sreenivas, Jikki, P. Suseela, P. S. Vaidehi amp Sathyavathi. ........
